Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (239) 344-7182. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, dentalspecialtyflorida.com.

Fort Myers is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Fort Myers is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I arrived 15 min early and waited an hour to be called back. All I needed was the dentist to take x rays look at 3 teeth and compare the x rays that day from an old one. Should have taken no more than 30 minutes. Instead I waited there for 2 hours while other patients who came after me were seen and finished. The office was absolutely filthy. Caked on dirt, debris and trash on the floor the dirtiest dental office I have ever seen. The employees were very unprofessional. When I arrived and sat down with my paperwork I could hear a employee behind the counter cackling loudly and having a very loud very unprofessional conversation with a coworker. I dont even think the dentist cared about my situation or really knew anything about the teeth in question. Im not even sure if I can trust his judgement on my teeth because he sounded unsure and I felt like he just wanted me to go so he could finish other patients. I paid $170 and honestly feel like i need to go somehwere else for a better consultation. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and I will be sure to let everyone I know to not come here. I was referred by my primary dentist who i will also let know of this experience so they

Took my son to see Dr. Schneider today for wisdom tooth removal and am so happy with our experience. My son is the most relaxed person I know until it comes to needles. Dr. Schneider and the team took so much care in making sure he was comfortable, while getting the procedure done safely and effectively. I could really tell Dr. Schneider understood our concerns and his compassionate nature helped put us both at ease. Heβs truly a great surgeon and Iβm so grateful my son ended up in his chair.

My son had a consultation with Dr. Hall today for wisdom teeth extraction. Aesthetically the office is nice and clean, all staff seemed to be working deligently and were attentive to the patients at the front desk. When taken to the back, the assistant that took us to get X-rays for my son prior to seeing the doctor was amazing. Very clearly has knowledge in her field and knew how to talk to and treat the patients very professionally (I made sure the doctor and her both knew in person how great she was). Then Dr. Hall came in, very informative, to the point, created a plan of treatment and both my son and I left informed of everything that will be done. Scheduling the procedure was flawless, quick dates with plenty of time options. I am very impressed that they offer a plasma treatment for extractions. As a mother I felt at ease after visiting this office. I am so thankful for them and everything they did for us today.

I came into this office already having a really difficult day after being given the run-around by another dentist. When I arrived, the waiting room was fullβbut it was clear why. The staff kept everyone informed and were kind and patient, and you could tell they take the time to provide great care to each person, which I truly appreciated and understood. This was my first wisdom tooth extraction, so I was extremely nervous and unsure of what to expect. Kaylee and Gabby, the dental assistants, along with Dr. Justin, were absolutely wonderful. They treated me with so much kindness, respect, and compassion, and they really helped calm my nerves. The procedure ended up being far less stressful than I had imagined. I was in a lot of pain when I arrived, and after being turned away elsewhere, the way they treated me made all the difference. Their care and professionalism turned my entire day around. Iβm so grateful for the experience I had here and would highly recommend this office to anyone.

I recently had a root canal performed by Dr. Galsterer and the experience was outstanding! From the moment I walked in, Violet and the entire staff made me feel welcomed and at ease. They explained every step of the procedure thoroughly, which helped alleviate my anxiety. Dr. Galsterer is incredibly skilled and attentive, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the process. The procedure was surprisingly quick and painless, and I felt well taken care of the entire time. I highly recommend this dental practice to anyone in need of dental care. Thank you, Violet, Dr. Galsterer, and the wonderful team, for such a positive experience!
